February 22nd | An Afternoon of Soul, Story & Sound

February is a sacred month. It’s a time of reflection, remembrance, pride, and celebration. Black History Month isn’t just about the past, it’s about the living legacy carried through art, culture, faith, and music.

And music… has always told our story.

On February 22nd, I’ll be bringing The Black Box Sessions to the stage for a special live concert experience, and there couldn’t be a more meaningful time to gather.

🎤 Music That Comes From Somewhere

The blues, jazz, and soul traditions I stand on were born from lived experience, from struggle, hope, worship, survival, joy, and truth. These sounds traveled from fields to churches, from front porches to juke joints, from pain to poetry.

Every note carries history.
Every phrase carries memory.
Every song carries spirit.

When I sing, I’m not just performing. I’m honoring the voices that made space for artists like me to exist.
