Habaka KFJ is an Bestselling Author, Award winning international Blues, Jazz, and Gospel vocalist, producer, and storyteller known as “The Panther of Cremona, Italy”. A four-octave singer with a global performance career, she has dedicated her artistry to preserving the emotional truth and legacy of the Blues.
Born into a rich musical lineage, Habaka is the daughter of a renowned saxophonist who spent more than twenty years performing with blues icon B. B. Her chapter, “I’m Not a Nurse,” shares her personal journey of caring for her father during one of the most vulnerable seasons of his life, offering an honest and heartfelt perspective on the strength and resilience of caregivers.
She is also a contributing author in the upcoming book Lanterns in the Dark: Stories of Survival, Scars, and Light, featuring an introduction by Betsy Chasse, (Award winning filmmaker & #1 bestselling author) where she continues to explore themes of truth, survival, and reclaiming one’s voice.
Whether through music or the written word, Habaka’s mission remains the same: to share truth, honor legacy, and connect heart to heart.
