In 2026, Habaka KFJ expanded her storytelling from the stage and microphone to the written word, becoming a published co-author in two acclaimed anthologies, Voices of Care and Lanterns in the Dark.
Voices of Care, featuring Habaka’s chapter “I’m Not A Nurse,” reached the Amazon Top 10, while Lanterns in the Dark, featuring her chapter “The Steal,” also climbed into the Amazon Top 10, reaching #6.

In 2026, Habaka KFJ’s international broadcasting journey reached another milestone when Radio Studio 104 in Palermo, Sicily — one of the stations carrying Habaka’s Bee Hive — was named Best Sicilian Radio Station 2026 by the PRT Radio TV Awards.
Earlier that year, Habaka was also selected to participate in Radio Studio 104’s 24-hour International Jazz Day celebration, joining an international roster of DJs honoring Jazz music around the world.
From Las Vegas to Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy and beyond, Habaka’s Bee Hive continues to carry music, conversation and culture across borders.
Habaka KFJ’s distinctive blend of Blues, Jazz and Soul continues to resonate internationally. Her acclaimed album Heritage Blue has produced multiple charting recordings, including “I Put A Spell On You,” which reached #1 in Canada, and “Love On The Brain,” another #1 chart success.
Her international reach continued with “Bossa Nova Tonite,” her collaboration with Michael J. Calhoun of the legendary Dazz Band, climbing to Top 20 on the UK Soul charts and reaching #1 on the Teerex Radio Top 30.
From North America to Europe and beyond, Habaka’s recordings continue to find new listeners through international radio, streaming and independent music platforms.
