Where has the time gone? I can hardly believe that we are coming up on your 4th year since you made your transition, it seems like yesterday and frankly I still feel as if I'm dreaming. I do know that I miss you like crazy, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you in some form or fashion. We even had the same teeth and smile. Lol
One thing is for sure that, because I'm walking in your footsteps as an entertainer, being on my European Tour has helped me a great deal to cope with how I'm feeling about you not being here.
God has allowed me to be tuned into all of the signs letting me know that you are ever so present with me even on the European Tour, so much that it has put a big smile on my face. You were such a funny man, and I learned that in your last days. We would laugh so hard until we cried, and it certainly made me aware of where my comedian side came from.
Why, just last night at Porky's Blues Club, I was given the room number 111, which is your Birthday November 1st, :-) along with a number of other incidents that was without a doubt it was you. I miss you Mr. Jackson, and I thank the Lord for letting this time be easy on my heart with the signs and wonders of you being so far yet so near. Where has the time gone?
