When the Blues Finds Its Way

Honey Bees,

Some moments arrive quietly, yet carry great meaning.

This year, Apple Music reported that songs from my CD Heritage Blue received 1,234 radio spins and appeared on five Blues radio charts. What makes this especially humbling is that it happened without paid Apple Music advertising or a promotional campaign.

The music traveled the way Blues has always traveled; through feeling, truth, and the ears of those who recognize it.

Heritage Blue was created from lived experience, reverence for the tradition, and a deep love for this music. Knowing it resonated with Blues radio DJs and listeners around the world reminds me that authenticity still has a place on the airwaves.

I offer my heartfelt gratitude to every Blues radio station and DJ who gave this music space to breathe. Your support helps keep the Blues alive, relevant, and rooted.

This moment isn’t about numbers alone.  It’s about connection, trust, and the enduring spirit of the Blues.
