Well, today is the first day of Spring, and her in Las Vegas, it’s a little chilly in the morning and evening.  But let me tell you, I grew up on the east coast, where it could be quite a while before you feel that spring weather.  The difference is that we’ve been told that this weekend we will hit 80 degrees! Yes, you read it right. Now I love welcoming the warmer temperatures, but sometimes we miss that gradient climb and go straight to blooms, pollen, and summer. I’m going to miss wearing my thick warm coat because we really don’t get much time to wear them.  I don’t know about you, but being from the east coast, and after living in northern Italy for more than 20+ years, I’ve got some pretty heavy duty coats to say the least.  I know I’m ready for Spring but also I can’t handle the pollen that comes with it here in the desert. Oh well, I’m done with complaining if that’s what you want to call it. I am grateful for all that is presented to me, (like this spring cold) because as the saying goes; it is always a lot worse things that could be happening.  So the moral of this story; is, be happy and rejoice while you can!
