Yesterday morning (January 10th), I woke up to a beautiful surprise; a review from the UK publication Soul & Jazz & Funk, written by Bill Buckley, with the headline “Bossa Nova Baby!!!” for Bossa Nova Tonite with the Kinsman Dazz Band.
Seeing those words reminded me that music has no borders. When a song is created with intention, breath, and emotional honesty, it finds its way exactly where it’s meant to land.
I often speak about Vocal Nectar, the idea that a voice doesn’t need to be forced or rushed. Like honey, it ripens through patience, phrasing, trust, and truth. Bossa Nova Tonite was recorded from that very place.

Recognition like this isn’t just a milestone, it’s confirmation that when you honor your voice and allow it to breathe, others feel it deeply, even across oceans.
I’m grateful for the ears, hearts, and souls receiving this music, and for every artist learning to trust the sweetness of their own sound.
You don’t chase the honey. You become it. Hugs
