From the Blues to the Boo… and the Beautiful Moments in Between! 🎶🐝

October 24–25, 2026 | Las Vegas, Nevada

What a wonderfully spooky, jazzy, and unforgettable weekend!

I had the pleasure of joining the International Opera Institute for two Halloween performances filled with music, theatrical fun, wonderful costumes, and plenty of laughter!

From my mysterious feline appearance to my fabulous witchy transformation, I had an absolute ball bringing a little jazz and a little Halloween magic to the stage.

But as wonderful as the performances were, some of my most memorable moments happened after the music stopped.

Sunday’s performance was especially meaningful because several of my Honey Bees came out to share the evening with me, including dear friends and special guests visiting from Atlanta, Georgia. We laughed, celebrated, and captured some beautiful photographs together.

And then came a few moments that reminded me why I love what I do.

A lovely 14-year-old young lady approached me to tell me how much she loved my voice and how much she loves jazz music. She even sang a little of Fly Me to the Moon for me!

Oh, my goodness! What a joy to see someone so young embracing this beautiful music. Moments like that make my heart smile.

Then another woman approached me and shared something deeply touching.

She told me she had recently lost someone very dear to her. Coming to the performance and hearing my voice had made her feel happy and brought her some comfort during a difficult time.

She said she wished she could listen to my music every single day.

Well, Honey Bees, you know what I told her!

“You can!” 😂❤️

I happily shared my website address with her so she could continue enjoying the music whenever she wished.

That conversation stayed with me.

As artists, we rehearse, prepare, select our music, and step onto the stage hoping to give our audiences something wonderful. But we never truly know what someone may be carrying in their heart when they walk into a theater.

Sometimes they’re coming to celebrate. Sometimes they’re discovering a new musical love. And sometimes they simply need a moment of happiness.

Music has a beautiful way of meeting people exactly where they are.

And for me, that’s one of the greatest gifts of being an artist.

To the International Opera Institute, my fellow performers, everyone who attended, and my wonderful Honey Bees who came out to support me, thank you for making this weekend so special.

The costumes were fabulous, the music was magical, and the memories will stay with me.

And as I always say:

“The music tells the story, but the moment I walk onto the stage, the storytelling has already begun.”

Until our next musical adventure, keep a little jazz in your heart and a little honey in your day!
