The Black Box Sessions: A Night of Voice, Verse, and Divine Timing

April is a sacred space for expression.

In honor of National Poetry Month, The Black Box Sessions was created as more than a concert—it was designed as an experience. A space where music, poetry, storytelling, and truth could exist together without boundaries.

On April 19th, that vision came to life.

And what unfolded was something I will carry with me for a long time.

To everyone who came out, who sat in the room, who listened deeply, who allowed themselves to feel—thank you. Your presence transformed the night into something intimate, powerful, and unforgettable.

This evening stood at a beautiful intersection in my journey as both a vocalist and an author.

With the release of Voices of Care on April 2nd, it meant the world to see so many of you—my Honey Bees—arrive with your books in hand, ready to be signed, ready to connect, ready to share in that moment with me.

And then, just days before the official release of Lanterns In The Dark on April 23rd… you showed up again.

Some of you chose to support early, purchasing the book ahead of its release. That kind of love goes beyond support—it’s alignment. It’s belief. It’s community in its purest form.

What I witnessed that night wasn’t just attendance.

It was presence.
It was intention.
It was purpose being met with open hearts.

The Black Box Sessions reminded me that art is never confined to one form. Music flows into poetry. Poetry flows into storytelling. Storytelling flows into healing.

And when we gather together in that space… something shifts.

To my Honey Bees—your continued love and support is the heartbeat behind everything I create. You don’t just show up… you uplift, you carry, you believe.

As Lanterns In The Dark prepares to enter the world, I do so with a full heart, knowing that even the smallest spaces can hold the brightest light.

And on April 19th… we lit something special together. God bless you and stay real Sweet! Hugs

With gratitude, always,
