VOICES FOR PEACE
A musical travel where 3 haunting voices blend, laying on the gorgeous mat of the ensemble made of guitar/bass/drums/percussions and underlined by the voice of the saxophone. From Ancient to Modern, from Africa to Blues, it’s Today's Music for Peace …
You never know what's coming up next, when it comes to musical collaborations and around two weeks ago in the month of September, I was contacted from jazz saxophonist Doudou Gouirand from France saying that he had found me on the worldwide internet through my Reverbnation page, and after listening to my sample songs and going to my website he found the third voice that he had been looking for, for some time to complete his 2016 project which read like this: " We need a jazz singer with blues tradition - and that's you, if you like this project."
So after reading over the project and the importance that it would signify I accepted and I must say that I was absolutely honored that Doudou Gouirand wanted to include me in such a project where I would have the opportunity to be considered an Ambassador For Peace. I must say that this will be my second project that I would have participated in for the betterment of lives, my first project was funded through UNICEF and I collaborated on a project named Child's Eye's, I was told that I my voice was well known in Africa for being a part of this CD. Once again I've been chosen and as an artist true to my passion and calling I'm overjoyed, I can hardly wait to be able to share more with you as this project VOICES FOR PEACE unfolds.
