The 2019 BMA (Black Music Awards) Winner of "Best Female Jazz Vocalist Performer" for Las Vegas, will release the second single “Like The Sunshine (live)” from her critically acclaimed album Heritage Blue, ahead of her forthcoming headlining appearance as part of the inaugural virtual CaliZona Vegas Festival, which will be available for streaming via Amazon Fire and Roku.

The Calizona Vegas inaugural festival will feature an array of Black artists from across the country who are now based in CaliZona Vegas. One of the headlining events is the hotly anticipated staging of the hilarious play, an imagined presidential debate between Trump and Obama in “Pinocchio Is A Liar - The Nightmare”. It features Hawthorne James from the classic film The Five Heart Beats as President Trump, and the United State’s No. 1 Obama impersonator / comedian Jay Lamont as President Barack Obama. To add to the comic genius of both is the addition of “Mr. Vegas” George Wallace as himself and AJ Jamal as Kanye West and Ms Arkansas as Candice Black, a Liberal panelist.

Artistic Director and writer Ron McCrory said “Covid-19 has taken its toll on many people through loss of income and our health and well being. We took the decision that people need uniting in a way only the arts can, with its universal languages of music and laughter. With 12 million people signing up for online TV during lockdown, entertainment is in demand and what better way to bring this Vegas festival to an world-wide audience?
