IS IT JUST TOO MUCH SOCIAL MEDIA?

OH MY....SOCIAL MEDIA!!!!!  can sometimes be very confusing and leave you feeling like which one do I believe, which one will work for me, which one has the most to offer etc...well some of you may say "absolutely not" but I beg to differ and that's because LIVING #thelifeofavocalist as an #indie artist can sometimes seem like there is just way too many band sites out there to read, to learn, to do non stop 24/7 and not having enough hours in the day, and I certainly know that you can also hire people to do the things to help you complete some of those tasks, but really, who has that kind of money?   I totally agree with some of the other blog music sites when they state "that you have to find which social media works for you", and with that if you're not careful you will find yourself feeling very over whelmed trying to keep up with the Jone's as they used to say.  While working in my office after the #habakajazz #radio #show, I noticed that BlackBerry Soul Radio had linked my music to the last.fm site.  Well needless to say I have known about last.fm for several years, but I never thought of it being necessary for me to become a member of this site until now of course.  So when I clicked on the link to take me to the last.fm site, to my surprise (because I'm everywhere...lol) I was not in their data base; and I had no idea how to start setting this up, so I registered and started reading what needed to be done and if you don't know this could be an 8 hour job in itself, yeah that's right, well come to find out I also needed to be hooked up with Spotify, which my two albums is on Spotify but I myself once again was not a member and so the entire process of registering and reading and learning and the list goes on and on. Now, I'm a member on both sites with still quite a bit to learn about these sites so as I continue my musical journey I want to be able to share with you some of the steps that I'm taking to connect more with people and at the same time find new artist that I like as well.

So if your on any one of these social media sites by all means look me up
(Habaka or Habaka Kay Foster Jackson) and add my newest music "Just Say I Love Him" to your playlist, and if you know more on how these two sites function then by all means feel free to leave some notes below in the comments area.

Please feel free to leave any comments you may have, I always look forward to hearing from you.  Share with your friends too.  Hugs
