A Oratory: A Rosa is blooming indeed, and Habaka will be portraying this great woman through song. Rosa Louise Parks was a black American in Montgomery, Alabama. Woman arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white passenger on a bus Dec. 1, 1955 triggered a wave of protests that has spread in a short time, in the United States. His quiet courage has changed America, its claim of equal rights for people of color has changed the course of history so as to be nationally recognized as the "mother of the civil rights movement." In those days of struggle, one of the first to be involved in the protests was the Reverend Martin Luther King that will soon to be the leading figure of the movement and one of the symbols of the global protest movements. The dream of a better humanity is the spirit which will animate all the movements of the 60s and the struggles of the next generation. The oratorio recounts the story in ten moments of this modern heroine who, with his violent behavior, his philosophy of life and has served as an example to his contemporaries and to subsequent generations.
